Today is the Solar Eclipse, April 8, 2024.

What is a Solar Eclipse?  According to spaceplace.nasa.gov, a solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth at just the right moment.  It can completely block the face of the Sun.

The solar eclipse will pass from Texas to Maine with a 100% totality view but will pass Central Florida with a 57% view.

If you believe in astrology, eclipses can signify endings and new beginnings, with notable transitions happening in our lives both on a collective and individual level.  Since this eclipse is visible in the United States, we will feel the effects of it for years to come more so than the rest of the world.

A couple of eclipse jokes:  How does the moon cut his hair?  (He eclipse it.)  Have you heard about the restaurant on the moon? (It has great food, but no atmosphere.)  Check out more eclipse jokes here: https://scoutlife.org/features/153892/15-funny-solar-eclipse-jokes/.

Be safe and please wear protective solar eclipse glasses if you plan to look at the eclipse today.

Sincerely,

The Team at Smith & Smith Realty
