We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving. The holiday season is here.
In October 2022, Sumter County had 98 single-family home closed sales, which is down from 115 in September 2021. The median sale price in October 2022 was $370,000 ($315,000 in October 2021) and the average sale price was $418,714 ($348,859 in October 2021).
Something new coming to Wildwood is a Home Depot. It will be located on the corner of 466A and Powell Road. Still in the early stages of development, it will be a 106,700 square feet store with a 28,000 square feet garden center. Traffic signals are moving forward on US 301 and Pepper Tree Lane in Wildwood.
The Wildwood Christmas Parade is December 10th, 2022. We are inviting everyone to come and watch the parade on our front porch at our office. Feel free to come by as snacks and drinks will be provided. We still have our Smith & Smith Realty hats available. If you have not got your hat yet, feel free to come by the office and get one.
We are selling Wildwood FFA Alumni Cow Chip Bingo tickets. Tickets are $25 each. The event will be held March 25th, 2023 at Wildwood Middle High School. The prize is up to $5,000. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, please let us know.
